Kitchen. We have a thousand staples in the wood that we can't get out. We are debating about whether to sand over them, and embed them into the wood and leave it, or to put a tile floor over the top.

What a relief to see the downstairs floors getting sanded, eh? Whooohooo! The kitchen floor...well, you could embed the nails. but I wonder if tile might be better in this situation.

You know...on the kitchen floor, I think I'd be tempted to refinish them. The staples need to be addressed regardless, and you can always put tile over the floor later on down the road if you decide they just don't look like you want after refinishing. I know you'd like to keep the wood floor.
