Day 4

Whew!  What a day!
I started the day by removing paneling from the living room walls.  In the process of removing the paneling, we discovered a doorway that had been paneled over!  This large original doorway leads from the living room into the dining room, and opens the house up tremendously!

Me, on the phone with Jason, discussing the doorway.

Living room walls.  The nails have been removed from the paneling, ceiling cleaned and patched, and all trim clean and patched.  Ready for ceiling paint and trim paint.  Still have to wash and patch the walls, then ready for wall paint.

I couldn't resist.  I put white paint on the two sides of a window in the living room.

Sun room.  Criser got all the trim finished.

We also removed the stair chair.

Here are some pictures of flowers that are blooming on the property.

Pretty daffodils.

I don't know what these are.

  1. I would like to say Thank you to everybody who helped out today!! Stephanie Criser, as always, was a HUGE help! She's done the entire sun room by herself! Stephanie (Rouse) Britt had fun using a sledgehammer to knock out the drywall in the new doorway.

    Thanks Ladies!
