Dining room
Today I spent almost all of the day scraping wallpaper glue off of the walls in the dining room. It was an excruciatingly slow and tedious process. Didn't finish, but decided to do someother things for awhile. Here are pictures at the end of Day 3.

I also started removing paneling from the wall in the Living room.

At the end of the day we decided to pull up carpet, remove drapes, and pull down some wallpaper in the upstairs.

The master bedroom and guest room 2 had carpet under the carpet. The second carpet was glued to the hardwood, so what you see in the pictures is glue and pad remnant on the hardwood.

We removed the shower drapery, and carpeted stairs leading up to the bathtub. We also took the wooden panel off the plumbing area behind the tub. The plumbing for the bathtub comes up through the floor, not through the wall, which explains the strange placement of the bathtub. It also confirms my original thought, which is that this bathroom originally had a clawfoot tub. Eventually, we are going to remove this bathtub and replace it with a clawfoot tub.

I would like to say Thank You to JR Ayers for coming over to help today! He took the chair rail down in the dining room and taught me how to remove trim! He also helped with mold removal. Thanks JR!
