Week 4

The progress has been slow this week, so I decided to make one post for the whole week.  At least, since Monday.

Here are some pictures of the beautiful things blooming out at the farm.

We had someone come repaint the dormer and glaze the dormer windows.  It looks fantastic!

And the rest of the week I've spent on the guest bedroom.

First I washed all of the dust off of the floor from sanding downstairs.

Then I spent a day patching the walls.

Then I spent a day sanding the walls.

...and washing the walls

After washing every wall, window, door and floor, I was finally able to start priming!

Halfway done!

All primed!

I also primed some of the trim.

Now for some color...

Now we need to finish the color, paint the trim, and wash everything down.  Then we can finally move some furniture upstairs!!

Finished!!!

And with furniture!

And I cleaned most of the closet in that room.

Jason, Criser and I taking a coffee break and enjoying the fruits of our labor.

Jason took down the chandelier in the other guest bedroom.

And I mopped the floors.

With furniture!

We got one of the ponds working!

Criser patched and sanded Jamie's room this weekend!

Furniture in the master bedroom.  I think we killed Criser.

Our actual kitchen table in the kitchen!

There's a hole in the furniture pile in the living room!  Can you see it?!

No more bed in the corner of the living room!

  1. Yeaaaaah! Your house looks gorgeous...as does your husband, peeking around the corner. Hahahahaha! Did you get all the rooms done upstairs? I think all the pictures are of the guest room, right? And the flowers are precious. It won't be too much longer before you can settle in. Hang in there baby. You are doing a fantastic job!
