Jason put up blinds in the sun room. We no longer live in a fishbowl!
The following pictures are of the demolition of the upstairs bathroom.
Sink's gone! The plumber took the toilet out on Friday.
The sub-floor underneath the linoleum.
There's tile under there!
More tile!
Oh, and a hole.
Another view of the hole.
Subfloor gone! And more holes...
This is where they've replaced some plumbing.
The tile is layed on top of poured concrete. The yellow stuff on the tile is glue from the subfloor.
This is where the toilet was.
A vent! I was wondering why there weren't any vents in that bathroom!
Tile underneath the tub.
Unfortunately the only plaster left on the wall is right here. The rest of the walls have been dry-walled. They marked the plaster to look like "subway" tiles. We're planning on re-tiling the walls with 3"x 6" subway tiles to restore the look of the walls.
Only the tub is left.
Pretty tile on one side of the tub.
Tile sitting on poured concrete. On the second floor. Go figure!
Pretty flowers blooming.
Wild flowers?
We lost a tree in the storm last week. It was already dead, but now it's firewood.
Wildflowers?
The guest room
Stephanie's room
Our pile of crown molding, chair rail, baseboards, and door trim.
The living room with 1 coat of paint. Waiting for the painter to come back and finish.
My mother's day roses from my hubby!
Other side of the living room
The chimney! He had to rebuild it, because it was falling apart so badly. Now it's been primed and ready for paint.
